Nevada's economic future depends on our ability to create good-paying jobs and diversify our economy.

We must invest in workforce development programs that train Nevadans for high-demand careers and attract new, innovative businesses that will build a resilient and diverse economy for generations to come. I will also be a fierce advocate for protecting the collective bargaining rights of our labor unions, which have long been the backbone of our middle class.

Nevada families are struggling with the rising cost of groceries and everyday essentials.

In the Assembly, I will fight to lower these costs by championing strong consumer protection laws to prevent price gouging. I will also advocate for policies that hold large corporations accountable for anti-competitive behavior that drives up prices, ensuring a fair marketplace for both consumers and businesses. By promoting a more competitive and transparent economy, we can help put money back into the pockets of working families.

I will also stand up against any legislation that seeks to roll back our progress on voting rights, ensuring that every voice is heard and every person is treated with dignity and respect under the law.

As a state, we have a responsibility to keep our communities safe from gun violence.

I support common-sense gun safety laws that respect the rights of law-abiding citizens while preventing firearms from falling into the wrong hands. This includes advocating for universal background checks, red flag laws, and a ban on assault weapons. We can and must take action to reduce gun violence in Nevada without infringing on the Second Amendment.

The rising cost of housing is a crisis that affects working families, young people, and seniors across Nevada.

I will champion policies that increase the supply of attainable housing for both renters and homeowners. This includes supporting smart development, protecting tenants from unfair rent hikes, and providing relief to homeowners burdened by rising costs. I will also work to stop venture capital and Wall Street firms from buying up the available housing stock and driving up prices.

I'll also advocate for increased funding for wildfire prevention and mitigation to combat the growing threat of catastrophic fires, ensuring we preserve Nevada's environment and economy for generations to come.
